Justin Tomlinson MP attended the business west breakfast at Swindon Town Football Club to meet local business leaders were in attendance to hear the latest quarterly report
Business West is a not-for-profit company with 200 staff that works with local businesses to help make the South West an excellent place to live and work. They host meetings with Swindon business representatives where they receive updates from MPs as well as Swindon Borough Council on both national and local issues.
Of particular note this quarter was the welcome news that more business are running at full capacity and business confidence is high in Swindon.
At the breakfast the opportunities of the online sales tax to help support local businesses was discussed, along with and how we equip the next generation with the skills they need to succeed in a fast-changing world.
