Justin Tomlinson MP joined 98 year old resident Joyce at the opening of the Moredon and Rodbourne Cheney Library Community Garden.
The garden has been lovingly created in an old overgrown area out the back of the Library by volunteers including local children who are part of the Moredon Young Wardens. The Wardens have also made a mosaic out of scraps of tiles donated by a local business to decorate the wall of the garden.
Justin said "This is a fantatsic addition to this local library and I am sure residents will enjoy the chance to sit out and read in the sunshine this summer.
"The fact that it was a community effort to create the garden makes it that bit more special and it is very fitting that Joyce, who has lived in Rodbourne Cheney her whole life, be the one that cut the ribbon."
