North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson joined MPs from across Westminster to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week.
The week celebrates the high-quality opportunities that are now available across the country through apprenticeships.
In fact, over 5.7 million people have started an apprenticeship since 2010 β with 700 different apprenticeship routes created in nearly 70% occupations β including law, accountancy and ever space engineering.
In Swindon, there have been a staggering 21,480 new apprenticeships created since 2010, allowing people of all ages to:
π οΈ Learn whilst they earn.
π©π½ββοΈ Develop new skills & embark on new careers- from nursing to law, and accountancy, and even space engineering.
ππ»ββοΈ Helping employers to fill gaps.
Apprenticeships provide opportunities for everyone, and lead to long, rewarding careers. Thatβs why this Conservative Government supports them and has created 5.7 million opportunities nationally.
