Justin Encourages Local Young People To Get Involved In The Rotary Club Youth Leadership Scheme

Justin Tomlinson MP is highlighting the amazing opportunity of the North Swindon Rotary Club Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) course, which is available this summer to a talented local resident aged 16-18.

The course is geared towards training young people who are enthusiastic about outdoor activities, and improving their self-confidence, as well as building leadership & communication skills.

Justin is highlighting the course as an opportunity for young people to build important transferable skills, which the successful candidate will go on to use in later life.

The Rotary Club describe the course as a “unique opportunity to combine exciting activities with broad-based theory to achieve new levels of self-confidence, communication and leadership skills – and just as important, it's fun!!”.

Each year the Rotary Club Swindon North sends a local candidate on the course, this year it begins on the 24th July, running through to the 29th July. The cost of the course is fully covered by the Rotary Club in North Swindon.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “This is an incredible opportunity for a lucky local resident. The Rotary Club is offering this course to highlight the importance of outdoor activity as well as offering skills in vitally important areas for potential future employers.”
