Justin & Jo Get Behind "Lydiard Bark" Dog Show

Justin Tomlinson and his wife, Jo, joined local residents from across Swindon at the "Lydiard Bark" Dog Show.

Hundreds of local residents packed into Lydiard Park for the event, in support of Pets as Therapy and the Prospect Hospice, which was the first in what it is hoped will become an annual dog show for the town. 

As part of the event, Justin and Jo's rescue dog, Susie, took part in the afternoon's events. The eleven year old Yorkshire Terrier Cross, re-homed thank to the support of the Golden Oldies charity, came second overall in the "Best Rescue Dog" category.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: "The Lydiard Bark Dog Show was a fantastic event which Jo & I were delighted to support; raising money for excellent causes, highlighting the importance of animal welfare and giving dog lovers from Swindon the opportunity to come together and share stories about their beloved pets. Lydiard Park was packed and it'll be great to see the show become an annual fixture."
