Justin and Jo Tomlinson were delighted to join special guests and InSwindon at this years Christmas light switch on.
Hundreds of people packed into Wharf Green to watch the entertainment which included dancing by talented youngsters from Swindon Dance, an ariel hoop performance and of course, the act of the evening - Britain's Got Talent winners, Ashleigh and Pudsey.
The whole event was organised by InSwindon, the town centre management firm, who are funded by local businesses to ensure that the town centre remains vibrant and busy.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "The whole of Swindon came alive tonight and this will hopefully be a kick-start to our festive shopping period. I know all the retailers I talked to tonight were ecstatic with the turn-out, the luck with the weather and the fantastic line-up. Even my wife was really excited about Pudsey. Our dog Suzie is going to training now too."
