Justin Joins Zurich & Phoenix Enterprises To Host Christmas Party For Local Young People

The festive spirit came to North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson’s community office as he opened its doors to the Zurich Community Trust and Phoenix Enterprises Christmas Party.

As part of its festive challenge Zurich Community Trust and Phoenix Enterprises organised a Christmas party for two organisations supporting young people with complex needs – Horizon’s College and Crowdys Hill School.

There was a buffet lunch, party crackers and party poppers. Guests enjoyed a number of activities including pass the parcel, bingo, and karaoke. There was also a surprise appearance from Father Christmas, who came to present each youngster with a gift.

Justin has previously nominated the Zurich Community Trust for the National Responsible Business Champion award, which the organisation won last year.

The prestigious honour is awarded to businesses for supporting their local community; investing in healthy workplaces; offering apprenticeships and training to all age groups; promoting equality and diversity in the workplace, including offering disabled people work opportunities; and monitoring suppliers’ actions on these issues.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “Christmas is a very special time of the year, and I was very pleased to be able to provide my office as a venue for the party. It's always great to work with the Zurich Community Trust and Phoenix Enterprises who do fantastic work across the town, and the party certainly helped people get into the festive spirit.”
