Justin Tomlinson MP has joined local residents and volunteers at the Blunsdon Community Shop for their Macmillan Coffee morning.
The community shop is manned seven days a week by local volunteers and has recently opened it’s new facilities off Sam’s Lane. Justin supported the efforts to move the shop into brand new premises following the completion of the Hayfield development site. The shop now includes a wonderful coffee shop which also serves food & cakes.
As a long-standing supporter of Macmillan, Justin completes an annual ‘coffee morning crawl’ visiting many of the local coffee mornings across the community in aid of Macmillan Cancer support.
Justin commented, “Macmillan is a wonderful charity and I am delighted to have worked closely with them over the years. I enjoy visiting all of the local coffee mornings in Swindon, although by the end of the day, I’ve probably had a bit too much cake! Nevertheless, it is all for a good cause!”
