North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson joined hundreds of people paying their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
Justin attended the service at the Swindon Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday and laid a wreath of poppies in honour of the men and women who gave their lives in the service of their country.
Despite the rain, there was a very strong turnout with many veterans among the crowd.
Justin Tomlinson said: “It was fantastic to see so many people brave the rain to take part in the remembrance service, it really shows how important it is to many people.
It was an honour to lay a wreath on behalf of my constituents and represent them at the service.
It is so important that we remember and thank those who died in conflict, so it is wonderful to see the crowd grow every year.”
