North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson and his team have pulled on their Christmas jumpers to mark Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
In normal circumstances, Save the Children ask people to donate £2 in exchange for wearing a Christmas jumper to work or school; however, this year’s socially-distanced festive period has meant the event has had to go virtual, with colourful jumpers brightening up digital meetings.
Details on how to take part and donate can be found here: https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day?fbclid=IwAR3a_HfLjvO8FPSwy0hLwUR8yVqPoXHTzi4lZFOtSxrBKYGl7GeAJJ6CCyk
Justin Tomlinson said: “This year has certainly been a difficult one, with many dark moments. However, events like Christmas Jumper Day are a great way to bring some colour and joy to our lives during this difficult time – plus it raises money for a great cause. I hope that residents will don their Christmas jumpers and join me in marking this year’s campaign!”
