North Swindon MP, Justin Tomlinson, has shown his support to the Swindon & District Multiple Sclerosis Society, as he visited their fundraising stall to help raise money for the vital work that they do to support sufferers of MS.
Across the UK there are over 100,000 people living with Multiple Sclerosis, an inflammatory disease which causes damage to the nerve cells. The Swindon & District MS Society work all-year round to support local residents who have been diagnosed with the condition.
Justin has previously supported the Swindon Therapy Centre by raising much-needed funds towards equipment for treatment.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "It was great to see the wonderful volunteers at the MS society raising money for this great charity which offers support and information to people in Swindon who are suffering from this terrible illness. I was really pleased to offer my support to the fantastic work that they are doing."
