Justin Tomlinson MP has participated in the latest meeting of the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) for Employment Relocation.
The APPG works closely with the Association for Relocation Professionals to attract inward investment to the UK and assist big employers who are looking to relocate their business.
Working closely with experts in UK relocation, and the Department for International Trade, the APPG aims to support & improve UK inward investment and ensure the property sector is regulated in relation to relocation.
Justin commented, “In Swindon we have seen millions of pounds of investment from private employers to create new facilities and HQs, creating thousands of new jobs in the process. From Panattoni to YUASA & Amazon, from the National Trust to Nationwide & Zurich, and manufacturers including BMW Mini – Swindon is an attractive town for big employers and as the North Swindon MP, I have always encouraged and supported this inward investment in order to boost our town’s economy. The APPG for employment relocation is a small part of this wider work to continue promoting investment into our town.”
