Justin Tomlinson MP has met with Helen & Claire from the fantastic local charity Doing it for Dan.
Doing it for Dan was set up in memory of 11 year old Daniel Climance. Daniel was kind, caring and loved all kinds of sports. The charity in his name helps young people to get active and achieve their sporting dreams by providing grants for equipment, kit and club memberships to individuals and teams in Swindon and neighbouring counties.
Justin spoken to Helen & Claire about the important work they are doing, different fundraising avenues and ways in which the charity can be supported.
Justin commented, “Doing it for Dan is an incredible local charity which is all about the power of sport and making this accessible to everyone. All children deserve to have the chances to fulfil their full potential and Doing it for Dan is helping with exactly that. I look forward to working to support the charity in the future.”
