North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson met with local fencing club organiser to learn more about the sport.
Neil Bromley, from Fencing in Swindon & Cricklade, spoke to Justin about the sport, it's history and the work it is doing in Swindon to attract more fencers.
Fencing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, with both men and women practicing on equal terms.
Neil said: "It's very rewarding; developing all round fitness, flexibility of movement, stamina, mental agility, co-ordination, balance & self-confidence."
Fencing in Swindon & Cricklade hold training sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays at The Deanery CE Academy in Whichelstowe and Cricklade Manor Sports Hall.
