North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson met with the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce to discuss a number of issues affecting local businesses.
The Chamber of Commerce represents businesses of all sizes and aims to support better economic conditions and new opportunities for members and the wider community.
During the meeting a number of issues were discussed, including the Health and Disability Green Paper – which Justin is leading on as Minister for Disabled People. In addition to this COVID and the effect it has had on local businesses was raised, as well as the idea of a business incubator/innovation hub to offer further opportunities to local businesses.
Following the roundtable meeting, Justin took part in a Q&A session, where he listened to and addressed issues raised by representatives from the local business community.
