North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson enjoyed an interesting event with local guides to discuss democracy in the UK, and his work representing North Swindon.
Justin attended the Guide meeting at the St Andrews Methodist Church and spoke to them about how he got into politics, what life is like in Westminster, and why it is important young people are involved in politics.
After the opening remarks, Justin took questions from the Guides covering a variety of issues.
Justin Tomlinson said: “It is so important that young people are engaged in politics and understand how they can be involved – so I always enjoy events like this one. It was great to meet the guides and see how enthusiastic they were about politics.”
