North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson sat down to discuss local football with Wiltshire FA CEO Simon Russell.
Justin has been a passionate football fan since childhood, and was delighted to have the opporunity to discuss issues affecting football at a local level.
In addition to this Justin and Simon talked about how we can maximise opportunites to get more people involved in the sport. Simon also highlighted the benefits of getting young people involved in football and keeping them out of trouble.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "As a huge football fan, I very much enjoyed discussing how we can expand opportunities to get more people participating in football, and the wider benefits of doing so.
I will continue to be a passionate advocate for football, both locally and nationally. I will also support local clubs, help them secure funding opportunities, and highlight other avenues of support."
