North Swindon MP and Conservative Party Small Business Ambassador, Justin Tomlinson, has offered his support to Business Wise - a local business support and referral group.
Business Wise is a Swindon-based organisation, made up of business owners and trades people, that works to support local companies who are looking to reach new clients. Each week, the group meets to discuss the issues impacting on local businesses before companies from the town have the opportunity to highlight their work. In turn, Business Wise will help to assist the firm to grown and recommend new opportunities. The group invited Justin to meet with local businesses who have utilised the successful scheme.
During the meeting, Justin spoke about he became involved in politics and his work as an MP. In particular, Justin highlighted his work both in Swindon and Parliament to support small businesses and remove burdensome red-tape, as well as his work as Small Business Ambassador.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "I was delighted to offer my support to this fantastic business group. These growing SME's are helping power economic growth in Swindon. Across the South West, we have one of the fastest rates of business development and schemes like this will ensure that growth and job creation are maintained for the long-term."
