Justin Pleased To Accept Fantastic Piece For Community Office By Local Artist

North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson has proudly accepted a beautiful landscape painting by local artist David Gibbons.

The work, with Parliament woven into the background will now be displayed in his Community Office at the Orbital for all visitors to see.

David, who studied at Birmingham College of Art, works on a variety of paintings, using different types of media like oil, watercolours and acrylic as well as the “marbling” technique. Living locally, and having retired early, David now dedicates his time and effort to painting.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “Receiving work like this is fantastic, and I really appreciate the time and effort David has gone to produce this painting. The picture will hang in my busy Community Office at the Orbital Shopping Park, and I look forward to inviting David to the office to see his work on display.”
