Justin To Host EU Referendum Drop-In Event: Saturday 18 June

On Thursday 23 June 2016 there will be a referendum. This will be your opportunity to decide if the UK remains a member of the European Union.

I am delighted that the Conservative Government has delivered on its Manifesto commitment to ensure that this crucial decision is made by you, the British public and not just politicians.

In recent weeks, I have been inundated with correspondence from local residents who quite rightly want to know a number of facts before they make their decision. This has mainly included queries about accessing enough information from both sides of the debate. As the MP for North Swindon I want to make sure that residents are provided with every opportunity to ask questions and learn as much as possible.

That is why I am hosting an EU Referendum drop-in event at my office on Saturday 18 June from 10am til 12pm.

I have invited both sides of the campaign, Vote Leave and Britain Stronger In, to each have a stand where they will be able to provide literature and put forward their case. They will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have. North Swindon residents will be able to drop by for as little or as long as they wish to pick up leaflets, raise issues or have a general chat. I will obviously be there as well to speak to residents, as well as make the cups of tea!

If you are a North Swindon resident and would like to come then please do let me know by dropping my office a quick call (01793 533393) or email me on justin.tomlinson.mp@parliament.uk. We can then ensure that everybody is catered for.
