Local MP Justin Tomlinson and his wife Kate joined over 150 others at a charity fundraising dinner for local charity Benjamin’s Smile.
Swindon resident Benjamin Maddern is registered blind, has Cerebral Palsy and suffers from a rare form of Epilepsy known as Infantile Spasms. All of these conditions together mean that Benjamin has Global Development Delay. He cannot sit unaided, crawl, stand or walk.
The Charity aims to raise funds to provide Benjamin with extra support, including intensive physiotherapy. The dinner was held at the Village Hotel and was sponsored by Draycott Sports Camp. Overall the evening raised over a staggering £10,000.
