Justin Tomlinson MP joined residents at Fitzwarren House for a cup of tea and cake at their event for the Macmillan Big Coffee Morning.
Residents and their families enjoyed tea, delicious homemade cakes or a cream tea and entertainment from a fantastic live singer who performed old classics from Frank Sinatra to Nat King Cole.
The Big Coffee Morning started in 1990 when a local fundraising committee decided to hold a coffee morning and donate the proceeds to Macmillan. The first nationwide coffee morning was in 1991 and since then has raised over £60 million for Macmillan Cancer Support.
