Justin Tomlinson MP today joined Rodbourne Cheney residents at their weekly coffee morning held in the Moredon and Rodbourne Cheney Library.
The weekly gathering is an opportunity for local residents to meet and chat, and this week they took the opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues with Justin, from town centre regeneration, to the need for improvements in the local area.
The group also heard from local resident, Joyce, who has lived in Rodbourne Cheney all her life and writes poems to reflect on life in the local area and its history. She shared a fantatsic poem with thr group about the meaning of Easter.
Justin Tomlinson MP said "This is a fantastic weekly gathering, where the local community can come together and take time to meet and catch up. I am delighted also that they choose the Moredon and Rodbourne Cheney Library to meet, showing just how valued it is within the local community. I use this library all the time, and as Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Libraries, I know just how important community libraries are."
