Justin Tomlinson MP and Robert Buckland MP lay their wreaths
As communities up and down the country paused to remember their dead, Justin Tomlinson MP and his South Swindon colleague Robert Buckland joined dignitaries, veterans and the community to pay their respects in Swindon town centre.
Justin laid a wreath of poppies at the war memorial to commemorate all those who have given their lives in the service of their country.
Justin Tomlinson MP said “We all owe our fallen heroes a huge debt of gratitude. They laid down their lives defending our country so that we may live today in freedom, we must never forget this. I am in awe of those among us who risked their lives in past campaigns, and who willingly continue to do so in present campaigns, fighting for our country. We will never forget, and this annual pause to remember the sacrifice must never stop.”
