Justin Tomlinson MP Tries Out The Future Of Cycling

Justin Tomlinson MP tries out the bikes

Justin Tomlinson MP today met with local businessman Graeme Pitts-Drake to discuss his new business promoting electric bikes.

The bikes are powered by a small battery that can do up to 87 miles on a single charge. The battery provides the bike with a power boost that kicks in after a couple of turns of the pedals, making for fast, effort free cycling.

Justin spoke to business owner Graeme Pitts-Drake about the impact the bikes could have in Swindon, as well as discussing more generally his campaign in Parliament to see more young people start up their own businesses.

Justin Tomlinson MP said “These bikes are a fantastic demonstration that cycling doesn’t have to necessitate arriving at work already exhausted and in need of a shower. It is technology like this that is the future for our towns and cities and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try them out.”
