Local MP Justin Tomlinson recently attended an open day for the Ridgeway Rise Care Home in North Swindon.
The open day was an opportunity to showcase some of the work of the home, which specialises in nursing and residential care for people with dementia.
During the visit, Justin met with the management of the home & residents, and took questions on a wide range of topics. He was also shown an art exhibition by Valerie Bayliss, a resident at the home and talented artist, as well as listening to music from a jazz group playing in the home’s beautiful gardens.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: “I' was delighted to be able to visit Ridgeway Rise, and was very impressed with the enthusiasm of both staff and residents. I was very grateful for the warm and friendly reception at the event and will be working with the management of the home to ensure standards stay high for residents.”
