Justin Tomlinson MP and fiancee Jo Wheeler at the Fairtrade stand
Justin Tomlinson MP today visited the Christmas Bazaar at St. Francis School in Taw Hill. Justin joined parents, pupils and teachers in the fun and games on offer, from the 'find the snowman' competition to Christmas craft-making. As well as games, there were stalls selling gifts made from recycled drinks cartons and a cake stall with lots of delicious cakes baked by staff and parents.
Justin had the opportunity to have a look round the Bazaar, talking to staff and parents. He also drew the names for the monthly 100 Club.
Justin Tomlinson MP said "This is a fantastic well-attended event and there is such a Christmassy atmosphere. Having been the local Councillor for this area for 10 years I know it well and living just around the corner I know St. Francis better than most. It is great to see the difference the new extension is making, giving them the space to hold big events like this. I wish all the staff, parents and pupils of St. Francis a very happy Christmas."
