Justin Tomlinson MP and Robert Buckland MP with David Ross
Justin Tomlinson MP today joined his South Swindon colleague Robert Buckland MP on a visit to T Quality in West Swindon.
T Quality has been supplying fish and chip shops across the country with everything from fish to mushy peas to chip boxes for nearly 100 years. With their Head Office based in Swindon, they are a key local employer, employing skilled staff in their warehouse and in their offices.
Justin and Robert met with Managing Director David Ross to discuss the history of the business and their key focus on good customer service before having a tour of the site. The two MPs met the office staff before having a look around the warehouse at all the products T Quality offer. They even braved the -20 degree conditions to have a look in the freezer.
Justin Tomlinson MP said “T Quality are a company with a real story, traced all the way back to the Hull Fish Docks in the 1920s. It just goes to show that with a reputation for good customer service, a business can survive even in the face of economic challenges and tough competition.”
Robert Buckland MP added “I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to come and look round today and meet all the fellow local residents who work here in West Swindon. T Quality is a valued local employer and the jobs they provide here in Swindon are really important.”
