North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson was delighted to visit DHL in the South Marston Industrial Estate today to meet with James Stephens (Vice President Corporate Affairs) and senior site staff.
After an informative presentation detailing the background of DHL, their business model, and plans for future growth, Justin was taken on a tour of the site – getting the opportunity to discuss their production processes and challenges.
Justin also discussed a variety of issues including challenges around recruitment, local opportunities for potential site expansions, and potential corporate social responsibility projects.
Justin Tomlinson MP said; “This was a fantastic visit to see the great work DHL do here in Swindon supporting several hundred jobs at this site alone. I am thrilled they have chosen Swindon, it is a great town with growth opportunities as they expand and continue to go from strength to strength.”
