Justin Visits Fillerz In Swindon To See Government Scheme In Action

As part of his role as Minister for Disabled People, local MP Justin Tomlinson has paid a visit to local sandwich shop Fillerz to praise their recent success as part of the Government's Small Business Engagement programme.

The programme matches small employers with vacancies and skills gaps, with organisations who are helping people with disabilities find work. This is all part of the Government’s commitment to halve the disability employment gap, an aim which was promised by David Cameron and is being led by Justin and his Department.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It was great to see a local business in my home town taking advantage of one of our pilot schemes. The two employees who have been employed through the programme are really settling in and very much enjoying their new responsibilities. It really is fantastic to see real differences being made to people’s lives and huge benefits for businesses who are gaining enthusiastic and dedicated members of staff.”
