North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson joined representatives from Backhouse to visit its new Blunsdon development.
Backhouse is an independent house builder that focuses on medium sized developments across southern England - including sites in Blunsdon and Highworth.
Justin enjoyed a tour of the site, including the show home and and houses under construction. The tour was also useful to see first-hand how the site will develop.
Following the tour Justin sat down with representatives from Backhouse and The House Builder Federation to discuss SME house builders and the barriers they can face. It was also an opportunity to discuss the wider housing and development issues in Swindon and across the Country - outlining how developers, elected representatives and local communities can work together to build the high quality developments people want.
