Justin Visits New Offices Of Pets At Home Vet Group

Local MP Justin Tomlinson has visited the new offices of the Pets at Home Vet Group at the old Railway Quarter, to meet with CEO Sally Hopson as well as directors and members of staff.

The company provides business support and services to more than 440 first opinion veterinary practices across the UK, as well as four specialist referral centres (where the most challenging cases receive cutting edge care).

Justin was taken on a tour of the offices where he met a cross-section of staff from different departments (along with their pets!) and sat down with staff to discuss their focus on colleague engagement, well-being, training and development.

The offices themselves are extremely impressive, merging brand new state of the art fittings with the original features of the Railway Quarter. The development by Thomas Homes is now home to a number of national companies including the National Trust, English Heritage and of course, Pets at Home Vet Group.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It was great to meet with the Pets at Home Vet Group. They are a very impressive local employer who we are very proud to have in our town. We had a really good discussion, covering topics including apprenticeships, veterinary training and animal welfare. A big thanks to all of the staff who made the visit really enjoyable; it was particularly good to see the different parts of the office which have been put together with the convenience for members of staff in mind.”
