North Swindon MP, Justin Tomlinson was excited to visit the site where a community shop will soon be situated in Blunsdon Village. Justin had a tour of the new building, set to open in Spring next year.
The new shop, which will be situated on Sam's Lane will replace the existing one on the Blunsdon High Street next to Blunsdon Village Hall.
The shop is a collaboration between Hayfield Homes and the existing community shop in Blunsdon, and as well as a shop the faciity will feature a café for local residents.
Justin Tomlinson MP said:
“I was excited to see the future site for the Blunsdon Community Shop. I know the huge amount of thought and work that has gone into the building, an incredible collaboration between the Team at the Community Shop and Hayfield. I look forward to visit once everything is up and running.”
