It was great to be invited to South Marston Primary school this week, a fantastic local village school.
I was given a tour of the classrooms, where I was able to see some of the classes in action - from mindfulness lessons to learning what foods are healthy and good for us to eat. It was fantastic to see the children enjoying themselves as they learn, and so well behaved to
The highlight of the visit was the exciting assembly where the children took part in their very own school parliament where we drew up a Bill to increase the number of hours of physical activity they did a week. After a debate and several votes, it was finally passed for royal ascent into law, a real credit to their school.
