£13.2 million of the funding will go towards opening a brand new school will provide places across all key stages from ages four to 19. In addition to this, it will provide 100 additional special educational needs and disability places.
A new site for the school has yet to be decided, and council officers reviewing available sites including options to redevelop existing buildings.
Furthermore, Furthermore, the funding will see 66 additional school places at existing Swindon schools.
The investment builds on record Government funding, which has delivered a number of brand new primary and secondary schools – including the Great Western Academy, for which Justin helped secure £21 million of Government funding.
Justin said: “This is fantastic news, which will be of huge benefit to Swindon. This investment will help support Swindon as it continues to develop and grow.
