Justin Welcomes Dozens More Local People To Parliament

Justin Tomlinson MP has welcomed another 50 local residents to Parliament as part of his aim to get as many fellow North Swindon residents to visit Westminster.

The group had the opportunity to see Parliament up close and person, including a visit to the House of Commons, and the opportunity to stand of the Government Despatch Box (historically used by Prime Ministers including Sir Winston Churchill & Margaret Thatcher, and still used to this day).

Prior to the tour, the group had the opportunity to question Justin on life as an MP, splitting his time between Swindon & Westminster, as well as discussing policy and the work he has done to promote Swindon in Parliament.

Justin regularly welcomes residents to Parliament, and is encouraging more local residents to visit Parliament to see this historic Palace up close and personal.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: "I'm always delighted to welcome people to Westminster to tour Parliament. Local residents vote in elections to send an MP from their area to the House of Commons to represent them, and I'm keen to ensure that as many fellow local residents who want to see Parliament have the opportunity to do so. Since my election in 2010, I've had the opportunity to welcome hundreds of residents to Parliament so that they can see what I do each day to represent them and if you'd like to visit, then do please get in touch!"
