Justin Welcomes South West Business Expo To Swindon

Justin Tomlinson MP supported the South West Business Expo this week at the Swindon Steam Museum. The Business Expo is a travelling business show that allows local businesses to attend and showcase their company in order to help it grow and develop.

As a Small Business Ambassador for the Conservative Party, Justin was pleased to see a number of familiar faces as local businesses and charities from Swindon attended the event alongside companies from elsewhere in the South West.

Justin Tomlinson MP said "The Business Expo is important because it allows a number of our fantastic local businesses to showcase themselves to other like-minded people who are all looking to support entrepreneurial spirit. I am passionate about supporting local businesses. As a previous business owner, I am proud that here in Swindon our local businesses are leading the economic recovery. We have seen 5,365 business start-ups since 2010 - the fastest growth in the Southwest. We continue to see investment in Swindon, both through new start-ups and businesses choosing to relocate.  This has helped cut unemployment in North Swindon by a staggering 47.3% since 2010.  It is fantastic that yet another Expo has chosen Swindon, showing yet again our economic importance."
