Local MP Cuts The Ribbon On New Properties In The Old Railway Quarter

Local MP Justin Tomlinson has opened the latest part of the Old Railway Quarter development next to the Designer Outlet Centre by cutting the ribbon for the Chain Testing House building which already has owners and tenants in.

The development is becoming a very desirable place to live as it houses modern, new apartments whilst maintaining the old railway heritage. On the site of the former Great Western Railway works, the site includes the already completed Heritage Plaza and impressive Achilles House and Hermes House.

Taking shape is also the Olympus House in The Courtyard, Apollo House and Artemis House in The Avenues and the stunning conversions in Chain Testing House - a spectacular redevelopment of the original historic GWR railway buildings.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “I remember opening the very first part of this development back in 2010 so it was fantastic to do so again six years later and to see the fantastic progress that has been made. This site really is very impressive and gives the local area a real boost. The buildings are very high quality and it’s great to see that our railway heritage has been incorporated.”
