Local MP Justin Tomlinson has praised the group activities that are made available to local residents at Grange Leisure Centre in Stratton St. Margaret, as well as their cooperation with charities & volunteer organisations, such as the Open Door Centre and the Uplands Educational Trust.
Justin has previously visited Grange Leisure Centre and praised the weekly drop-in sessions put on for Uplands Educational Trust, which caters for students with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The Educational Trust, which is in partnership with Uplands School, learners with complex needs aged 19 - 25 years.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It was fantastic to see such popular group activities on offer here at Grange Leisure. I was also very pleased to see such an inclusive and sporty atmosphere for those of all ages and abilities to stay active. There is a real social element to many of the activities on offer and I am very keen to see this great work continuing.”
