Local MP and loyal customer, Justin Tomlinson, has proudly opened the new extension of the Olive Tree Cafe, located at the Manor Garden Centre in Cheney Manor.
Justin has long been a supporter and fundraiser for the local cafe which provides a working environment for people who suffer from, or are recovering from, mental illnesses, and gives them an opportunity to develop the confidence and skills they need in order to equip them for mainstream employment.
Recently, Justin welcomed the Minister for Disabled People, Mark Harper MP, to see the Café first-hand and meet with the staff and volunteers.
Justin Tomlinson MP said, "It was great to finally see the extension to the Cafe completed. This is a fantastic initiative and I am glad that the local community have noticed it and supported the volunteers. After such a high demand for the fantastic range of food on offer, kind donations were made to extend the cafe and allow for more customers to use the facilities and help raise money. As a customer, I am glad to see that there is now more space which means the increased likelihood that you'll be able to get a seat and enjoy a fantastic all-day breakfast!"
