Local MP Visits Gee's Active Sports Apparel To See Company's Success

North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson has visited local sportswear business, Gee’s Active Sports Apparel, to see first-hand the work the company is doing both at home and abroad.

Gee’s Active Sports Apparel are a business based in Cheney Manor, Swindon, who manufacture and sell their own branded sportswear for Gymnastics, Dance and Ice Skating. They produce custom-made products for schools, clubs and champions, including Madonna, the Olympics and the World Dance Federation.

The owners of the business gave Justin a tour of their shop, as well as showing him the behind the scenes, where all the clothing is designed and made. Justin was particularly impressed with the high quality of the products. They also discussed small businesses and what the government can do to maximise their potential.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “As a former small business owner myself, it is fantastic to see such a vibrant business making their own high quality, bespoke outfits, right in the heart of Swindon. They are a hidden gem. I look forward to working with them in the future”.
