Local MP, Justin Tomlinson, has welcomed members of Swindon’s ‘Business Wise’ referral group to Westminster to discuss the Government’s work to support businesses.
Business Wise is an organisation made up of business owners and trades people, that works to support local companies who are looking to reach new clients. Each week, the group meets to discuss the issues impacting on local businesses before companies from the town have the opportunity to highlight their work. In turn, Business Wise will help to assist the firm to grown and recommend new opportunities.
During the visit, members of the group toured the Houses of Parliament and met with Justin to share their thoughts on what it is that makes Swindon an excellent place in which to live, work and a run a business.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Business Wise to Parliament to discuss what the Government and Swindon Borough Council have done to support business and what more we can do! Business Wise is an excellent organisation made up of fantastic local businesses and I look forward to continuing to work closely with them”.
