I attended the launch by the Money Advice Service of the new online financial health check.
In less than ten minutes, the free and unbiased health check – www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/healthcheck provides a personal action plan to help people stay on top of their money today, and plan to meet future goals.
This is an excellent resource ensuring people know where to go for help, know their choices and how to take the practical steps to improve their own situation. For example information is provided on ways to: stay on top of your day-to-day money; make the most of your savings; and crucially make sure you can cope with a change in circumstance, which is the single biggest trigger for people to get into financial difficulty.
In an increasingly complex financial world the need for financial education, clarity and transparency has never been greater and I am sure this website will help play a crucial role.
