Local MP Justin Tomlinson has caught up with local employers Zurich Insurance in Parliament.
Zurich employs hundreds of people in the UK including at its Swindon offices at the Tri Centre and plays a major role in the local and national economy.
During the meeting Zurich and Justin discussed the ongoing Brexit process as well as other bits of legislation as part of a general catch up. Justin has previously worked with Zurich on the campaign to introduce financial education into the National Curriculum, something which the company supported.
Most recently he has nominated their charitable arm – the Zurich Community Trust – for a Parliamentary Corporate Social Responsibility award.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "It is always great to catch up with Zurich to discuss their work in the community and to hear about their views on a number of local & national issues. I am delighted that, following my nomination, Zurich's Community Trust has been listed for a national award and will be backing them all the way"
