Justin Tomlinson MP joined staff from South Marston DC on a site visit to commemorate the company's 25th anniversary.
The business is a well-established distributor of parts to the Swindon Honda UK Manufacturing plant, as well as providing world class logistics, training, packaging, design and quality assurance services. The expert team and industry leading equipment also covers warehouse and logistics services, bespoke designed warehousing systems, supply chain management and storage and stock control.
As a strong local employer, the business employs 700 people in total including 200 jobs at the local site. Justin was given a brief history of the company, as well as a tour of the warehouse to see operations in place, before then sitting down with the management team for a useful Q&A session. Topics including local infrastructure investment and employing people with disabilities were discussed in depth, before Justin was presented with a commemorative coin to mark the company's 25th anniversary celebrations.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "It was fantastic to see such a thriving business that plays an exceptionally crucial role in the Honda manufacturing process, and importantly provides 200 jobs locally. It was great to meet with Steve Gopal, the Associate Director who has worked for the company since 2001, as well as the other members of the management team. I was also pleased to hear about all the valuable work that the company does in the community and I look forward to a close working relationship going forward. Here's to another 25 years of success!"
