Local MP, Justin Tomlinson, was pleased to join volunteers at the Swindon Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Christmas Fair over the weekend.
The MS Society supports those people in Swindon who are fighting Multiple Sclerosis, a neurological disease which affects over 100,000 nationally. The Society also aims to help families whose loved ones are battling the illness which affects the Central Nervous System.
The Christmas Fair was used an opportunity to not only raise money to support the charity, but also increase awareness of MS and the work done by volunteers across the town.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "I was delighted to get a chance to pop into the MS Society's Christmas Fair and to thank the volunteers for all of the hard work that they do locally. The Society has a fantastic programme of fundraising going on all year round thanks to the terrific team of dedicated volunteers."
