North Swindon MP Kicks Off Parliament Week At Haydonleigh School

Justin Tomlinson MP kicked off UK Parliament Week with a visit to Haydonleigh Primary School.

Justin met with the very impressive School Council where they passed their own Parliamentary Bill, before taking questions and talking about the responsibilities they held as members of the School Council.

He also had lunch with the School Council where they discussed favourite subjects, secondary school options and favourite TV programmes!

There was also a very moving moment where pupil Rosie Perry read Justin the poem she had written for Remembrance Day which honoured her father, a soldier who has just returned from Afghanistan.
