North Swindon MP Meets Businesses To Discuss Planning & Regeneration

The impact of government policy, both local and national, on the property and development market was the topic of conversation at the recent breakfast meeting of the Swindon and Wiltshire Action for Property Group - known as SNAP.

Both Justin Tomlinson MP and his South Swindon colleague Robert Buckland MP, attended the event and spoke to the 40+ attendees. Justin spoke about the unanimously acknowledged need to build more houses alongside the need for more infrastructure, including improvements to local roads as well as big national projects.

Local updates were also provided including the regeneration of Fleming Way and the proposals for North Star. Local businesses also discussed the need for better-placed town centre parking. Justin also explained how he continued to push Network Rail in making improvements to Swindon Station including the much-needed regeneration of Signal Point.
