North Swindon MP Meets Council Head Of Highways To Discuss Local Roads

North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson sat down with Swindon Borough Council’s Head of Highways Jason Humm to get an update on highways matters in Swindon.

Justin meets Jason regularly to keep up to speed on Swindon’s roads and various highway projects.

In the latest meeting the pair discussed a number of issues including Thamesdown Drive, Redhouse Way, Greenbridge Roundabout, The White Hart Roundabout, North Star Development, Mead Way and other general matters such as potholes and parking.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “My regular meeting with the highways team is always very useful. I am particularly keen to push for road improvements and am pleased that infrastructure investment is a top priority now, ahead of upcoming developments. I am also pushing for the £270,244 grant from the Government to be spent on filling in potholes and carrying out essential works.”
