There was lots of festive cheer on Saturday as North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson opened the very first St. Andrew’s Parish Christmas Fair.
The Fair, held at the Redhouse Community Centre, was organised for local residents by the St Andrew’s Parish Councillors and raised money for two fantastic charities – Cruse Bereavement Care and Gloucester House Rehabilitation Centre in Highworth
Justin assisted in selling cakes and joined the Scouts to help sell stamps for the Scout Post which delivers Christmas cards locally.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: "I was delighted to join residents from St. Andrew's for their first ever Parish Christmas Fair. Our fantastic St. Andrew's Parish Councillors organised a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, raised funds for fantastic local charities, and successfully kicked off the Christmas season."
